Who is Bougieé Bratx CEO?
Our CEO, Makayla Washington is a 15-year-old New Orleans native who decided to take her dream and turn it into a reality during the COVID-19 pandemic. She occasionally found herself bored at home. Makayla has sketched fashion designs in her school notebooks from an early age. And she also always wanted to be an entrepreneur. So, she has taken her love for fashion and entrepreneurship to start Bougieé Bratx. She is known for her bubbly, bougieé, & funny Spirit. One of her favorite quotes is "I'm not a boss, I'm a builder." - Sage Thompson or Sold By Sage. She is a proud partner of The City Of Love Church here in New Orleans. Makayla has lots of plans for the Community like mentorship and a non-profit organization. Washington is a very active citizen in the City Of New Orleans. She wants to see New Orleans as better than what it already is. She wants to see our youth in the city doing better. Makayla has such amazing confidence that she w to help others to achieve that goal as a personal dream!

Bougieé Bratx is a clothing store that was created with love, happiness, and Bougieéness. We offer clothing that can be dressed up or dressed down & custom items. Our Mission is to inspire every female to embrace their Bougieéness & to be confident. It’s not about the money, it’s about building confidence and self-love. Nowadays, self-care comes off as selfish and it's not. This business was created so others can become self-aware!
